Yesterday, Mom decided to enter me in some baby contest. She said, it does not matter whether I win or lose as long as I have tried. It’s true, you will never know the taste of the pudding unless you take a bite. Good thing I’ve learned this first-hand from my Mom. It makes me brave enough to try many things — like the one shown in the picture where I made my initial attempt to crawl.
Anyway, wish me luck!

The weather is sooooooo cold now. I guess the temperature’s been hitting zero degree (or below) especially at night. Since I am just a baby, it is very important to keep me in a normal room temperature all the times since my body can not endure yet too much cold/heat.
Here’s some neat tips to follow to keep us warm during very cold weather:
- Prepare winter clothes such as long-sleeved shirt, long pants or pajama, jacket or coat, hat or bonnet, socks & shoes, and mittens, among others.
- Wear winter clothes on top of the usual undies. Add another layer of clothes as the temperature gets colder.
- Cover the head with a bonnet or hat since this is the single most exposed part of the babies body and heat quickly escapes from it.
- Protect the feet with socks and shoes, and the hands by mittens.
- Always have a swaddling blanket available in case of too much cold and from which the clothes are not enough.
- Always have a vapor ointment available, but ask first your pediatrician for proper usage and further instructions. Some doctors do not advice applying ointment on babies’ body.
- Check baby from time to time. Remove extra clothes if the temperature’s gets higher to avoid overheating.
